Refund and Cancellation Policy

1. Scope

This Policy governs cancellations and refunds of all fees paid to Cross-Link Square LLP ("BMV") through buymyventure.com. It forms part of the Terms and Conditions. Capitalised terms have the meaning given there.

BMV supplies digital and professional services, not goods. There is no shipping, delivery or physical return.

2. Fee schedule and refund position at a glance

All fees are exclusive of GST, charged additionally at the applicable rate.

3. Listing fee (Seller)

3.1 How it is billed. The listing fee is ₹1,000 per month plus GST, collected by monthly recurring debit under a NACH / UPI AutoPay e-mandate that you register at publication. There is no upfront block payment and no lump-sum cycle. Billing continues month by month until you cancel the mandate.

3.2 When it becomes payable. A Listing sits in an "In Process" state while BMV prepares the Deal Pack. Billing starts only after BMV has completed the Deal Pack, verified the Listing and published it. You pay nothing while your Listing is In Process.

3.3 If BMV declines to publish. If BMV decides not to verify or publish your Listing, no listing fee is charged and the mandate is not presented. Any amount already collected is refunded in full.

3.4 Monthly fees are non-refundable. Once a month has been debited and your Listing has been live during that month, that month's fee is not refundable. The service — publication, exposure and marketing of your Listing — has been supplied for that month.

3.5 Pause and reactivate instead of refund. In place of a refund, you may pause your Listing at any time. While paused:

• the Listing is not visible to Buyers;
• monthly billing is suspended and no further debit is presented; and
• the unexpired balance of your 12-month tenure is preserved.

You may reactivate the Listing at any time for the remaining tenure, at which point monthly billing resumes. Pausing does not extend the tenure and does not refund any month already debited.

3.6 Cancelling the mandate. Cancel through Account → Billing, through your bank or UPI app, or by writing to admin@buymyventure.com, at least 3 working days before the next debit date. Cancellation stops future debits only. A debit already presented or collected is not refunded.

3.7 Pre-debit notice. You receive a notification at least 24 hours before each monthly debit, in line with RBI directions on recurring transactions. If you do not wish that debit to proceed, cancel or pause before it is presented.

3.8 Failed debits. If a debit fails, we will notify you and may re-present it under NPCI rules. If the fee remains unpaid for 7 days, your Listing may be unpublished until payment is made. Any dishonour or insufficient-funds charge levied by your bank is yours to bear and is not reimbursed by BMV.

3.9 Successful sale. If your business sells, no refund of any listing fee is due — the fee has done its job. Cancel the mandate to stop further debits.

3.10 Termination for breach. If BMV removes your Listing under Section 19.2 of the Terms and Conditions (false information, fee circumvention, confidentiality breach or similar), no refund is payable, the tenure is forfeited, and BMV reserves all other rights.

4. Basic data verification fee (Seller)

4.1 This ₹25,000 fee is charged after the first Buyer expresses interest and funds a discrete verification exercise — checking documents, cross-referencing public records, and preparing the verification note.

4.2 It is fully refundable if you cancel before BMV begins the verification work. BMV will confirm by email when work commences.

4.3 It is non-refundable once verification work has commenced, whether or not the Buyer proceeds, and whether or not the verification outcome is favourable. The fee pays for the exercise, not for a particular result.

4.4 It is charged once per Listing, not per Buyer.

5. Buyer unlock fee (Deal Pack access)

5.1 The Deal Pack is a digital product delivered immediately on payment. Once you have accessed or downloaded it, the fee is non-refundable. This is stated at the payment screen and you confirm it before paying.

5.2 Full refund is available where:

• a technical failure prevents delivery and BMV cannot resolve it within 72 hours;
• the Listing is withdrawn or found to be fraudulent before you access the Deal Pack; or
• BMV cancels your access for a reason not attributable to you.

5.3 Partial or discretionary refund. If, after unlocking, the Listing is found to be materially fraudulent — the business does not exist, the Seller has no authority to sell, or the financial statements are fabricated — raise it within 7 days of unlocking. On investigation, BMV may at its discretion refund the unlock fee in full or issue a credit against another unlock. BMV's decision is final.

5.4 Not a ground for refund: that you did not like the business, that the asking price was too high, that the Seller declined to negotiate, that diligence revealed ordinary commercial weaknesses, that a competing buyer prevailed, or that you changed your mind.

5.5 Access window. Unlock access is ₹1,000 per Listing, per Buyer, non-transferable, and valid for 15 (fifteen) days from unlock. Within that window you must either submit a Letter of Intent or tell us you are not proceeding. If you do neither, access lapses on the fifteenth day and a fresh ₹1,000 unlock fee is payable to regain access.

5.6 Lapse is not a refund event. Expiry of the 15-day window — whether because you took no action, ran out of time, or were still deciding — does not entitle you to a refund or an extension. The fee bought fifteen days of access, and those days were made available to you. If you need more time, tell us before the window closes and we may at our discretion extend it once; discretion is not a right.

6. Meeting fees and travel expenses

6.1 The meeting facilitation fee is ₹5,000 plus GST per meeting, payable by the Buyer before the meeting is convened. It is refundable in full if you cancel at least 48 hours before the scheduled meeting, or if the meeting is cancelled by BMV or the Seller.

6.2 Cancellation within 48 hours, or non-attendance, forfeits the fee in full. A rescheduled meeting requested more than 48 hours in advance does not attract a fresh fee; a request made within 48 hours does.

6.3 Travel and site-visit expenses are borne by the Buyer and charged at actuals. Once incurred or committed — tickets booked, hotel reserved, non-refundable bookings made — they are not refundable, and you remain liable for cancellation charges levied by the vendor. BMV will provide supporting bills on request.

7. Closing fee

7.1 The closing fee is a Seller-side fee of 7% of headline deal value, negotiable only by written agreement recorded before or at the time the Seller is introduced to prospective Buyers. It is earned on the completion of a Transaction and is non-refundable once the Transaction has closed.

7.2 If a Transaction is signed but subsequently rescinded, terminated or set aside for a reason not attributable to BMV, the closing fee remains payable and is not refunded.

7.3 If the closing fee has been paid on a deal value that is later reduced by a completion or working-capital adjustment recorded in the definitive agreement, BMV will refund the excess within 30 days of receiving the executed adjustment statement, on written request.

7.4 No closing fee is payable, and any advance is refunded, if the Transaction does not close at all.

8. Cancelling your account

8.1 You may close your account at any time by writing to admin@buymyventure.com from your registered email address.

8.2 Closure takes effect within 7 working days. It does not by itself generate a refund — refunds are governed by Sections 3 to 7 above.

8.3 Closure does not discharge accrued liabilities, including the closing fee, the non-circumvention obligation, or your confidentiality obligations, all of which survive.

9. Failed, duplicate and disputed payments

9.1 Failed payment where money is debited. If your account is debited but the transaction fails, the amount is normally auto-reversed by your bank or by Razorpay within 5 to 7 working days. If it is not, write to admin@buymyventure.com with the transaction reference; we will take it up with the gateway.

9.2 Duplicate payment. Refunded in full within 7 working days of confirmation.

9.3 Chargebacks. If you initiate a chargeback in respect of a service already supplied, BMV may suspend your account, will contest the chargeback with supporting evidence, and reserves the right to recover the disputed amount together with gateway penalties and recovery costs.

10. How to request a refund

Send an email to admin@buymyventure.com with:

1. your registered name, email and mobile number;
2. the Razorpay payment ID or order ID;
3. the fee concerned and the amount;
4. the reason for the request, with supporting documents.

10.1 Refunds are made only to the original payment method and the original payer. We do not refund to a different card, account or person, and we do not refund in cash.

10.2 Payment gateway charges levied on the original transaction may be deducted from a refund where the refund is on account of your cancellation and not our default.

10.3 GST. Where GST was charged and a refund is approved, the proportionate GST is refunded and a credit note is issued in accordance with Section 34 of the CGST Act, 2017. Where you have already availed input tax credit, you must reverse it.

11. No refund in these cases

No refund is payable where:

1. the service has been fully supplied and no defect in supply is alleged;
2. your account is terminated for breach of the Terms and Conditions or Confidentiality Policy;
3. you supplied false, incomplete or misleading information;
4. you attempted to circumvent the closing fee;
5. a Transaction failed for commercial reasons, or a counterparty withdrew;
6. the request is made after the applicable window in this Policy has expired; or
7. the fee is expressly stated to be non-refundable at the point of payment.

12. Limitation

Any refund made under this Policy is subject to the limitation of liability at Section 17 of the Terms and Conditions. BMV's total aggregate liability to you, including all refunds, shall not exceed the total of the Platform Fees actually paid by you to BMV through the online payment facility on buymyventure.com in the 12 months preceding the claim, and that computation excludes the closing fee, taxes, third-party charges, expenses reimbursed at actuals, and any amount paid by cheque, NEFT, RTGS or other offline method.

13. Grievance redressal

If you are dissatisfied with a refund decision:

Complaints are acknowledged within 48 hours and disposed of within one month, in accordance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.

14. Amendment

BMV may amend this Policy. The version in force at the time you made the payment governs that payment. The current version is always at buymyventure.com/refund-cancellation.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

This Policy is governed by the laws of India. The courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan shall have sole and exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with it.
